NOTE:  The USB Lights that I have below WILL NOT work on the lime fuel battery because the lime fuel is 'intelligent' and it turns itself off when the cell phone battery is full.  It does this by sensing how much current is going out of the battery.  When there is a lot, its charging a phone, when there is a little, the phone is charged.  So it sees the USB lights as a 'little' current and it turn off the USB light after about 30 seconds.  Still..its an awesome battery.

I LOVE this little battery.  When you want JUST ONE GOOD CHARGE then this is the battery for it.  Its the same size as a credit card but its thicker of course, but not too much thicker.  It fits in your pocket just fine, any pocket, shirt pocket, pants pocket etc...  If I was going out and about for the day this is the battery that I'd take with me... and I DO take it with me.  I've used it quite a bit letting my phone not get charged up the previous night I have used this to charge my phone the next day just to get some time on the battery for testing.  The nice thing is, its got its own charge cable built into it.  It wraps around and tucks into the corner just perfectly.  So I don't need to carry another cable.  I just put this BEHIND my phone and plug the cable into the bottom of my phone and I carry the 2 as one unit.  It works so great.  This battery is 2000mah, I have the 3000mah version, which, when making this the 3000mah is out of stock.  Either will work fine, the 2000mah will be a bit thinner.  Charge this from ANY of the USB wall or car chargers on this page or my other 1234 pages.  It has only 1 led light that changes color to tell you if its charged, charging or it blinks if its below 25% charge.  This WILL NOT work with the USB Lights I have because there is no full size USB port on it for the lights to plug into.  It only has the micro USB port on it.

THIS IS the 3 PORT 12 Volt Adapter I just described in the ABOVE Box regarding the 12 volt batter clip on adapter.  Not only do you get 3 12 volt power ports by just plugging into one 12 volt outlet, but this adapter has TWO USB 2.4 amp charging ports, one on each side of the device.  So if you had three 4 port cigarette lighter USB chargers you could charge 4 + 4+ 4 +2 = 14 USB devices at the same time.  If you are going to need to charge more than 4 USB devices at any one time when you travel (for what ever reasons) then you MUST have one of these.  There is no way around it.  In the video I have a 2 OUTLET 12 volt cable that I show you.  It has thin wires in it, and can EASILY handle charging as many USB devices as you'd want, but if you plug in something that takes over 100 watts into that splitter than you might smoke the wires.  For the size, this is just as compact as the 2 outlet splitter I show in the video and this is fused so if you do try to do something stupid with it, it will blow the fuse.  Plus this has 2 USB ports on it so that is a bonus.

The ABOVE 3 12 Volt outlets has a much too small fuse in it, its like 4 amps....which is nothing.  You want to put a 15 or 20 amp fuse in it.  I paid $4.29 for five 20 amp fuses at autozone, most of the fuses on amazon were about the same price. For a few dollars more you are better off spending $8 on this and getting an ENTIRE ASSORTMENT of of fuses in a nice box just in case you have any other fuses in 'something' blow on you during a blackout.   The 2nd time you ever go to this thing to get a fuse you'll be saying, "Thank you Steven Harris."

If you just need a simple 2 outlet splitter than this will work or you.  Personally I'd take the 3 outlet one above but this might be more minimal for some people.  The damn thing is fused so get the fuses above and put a 15 amp fuse in this so it does not blow when you need it the most.
 

Energizer Recharge Rapid Charger with 4 AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries (included) Car and AC Wall Adaptor, 15-Min Charge Time $32.59  *NEW*   
This is the charger I show in the video on the 100 watt solar panel and also on the table.  This is the charger that I use if I MUST charge 4 AA batteries in 30 minutes or less.  It says its a 15 minute charger, but that is for 2 AA batteries.  This will charge AA or AAA NiMH batteries and ONLY NiMH batteries.  It does NOT charge lithium ion.  Also, this does come with a BIG 120 volt wall wart but if you get this the ONLY reason I'd get this is for charging AA/AAA batteries from a 12 volt source.  Any SERIOUS AA / AAA charging being done from 120 or 240 volts should be done with the powerex charger.  This is for back home, or your home base or whatever.  Its a better charger with a lot more information and it does not have a large wall wart.  It will charge 8 AA batteries from dead to full in 2 hours, or 1 hours if you get the 1 hour version, but it has a much larger wall wart.  8 AA's in 2 hours or less is "Fast Enough".

I show this charger in the video and mostly I tell you the reasons to NOT USE IT.  On 4 AA Alkaline batteries its a 2500 mah charger.  On 4 AA NiMH batteries its a 2000mah charger.  For 2x the size, the lime fuel battery or others are a 15,000 to 22,500 mah charger and they are only 1.5x to 2x the cost.   Unless you are in a very heavy AA environment where you got a bunch of AA batteries but not much access to 120/240 volts or 12 volts, then this is not the USB Phone charger for you.  I put it here only to be inclusive for my items in the video.  If I have it in the video I want you to be able to find it here.  You are NOT me.  You might have a great application for this, but I don't.  Not with lithium-ion technology so widely available and cheap.

This item is so small, so powerful and so incredibly useful, that if you were traveling and especially if it was in an area where you MUST HAVE your cell phone working I would tell you to carry TWO of these.  Just incase one gets broken or one gets lost you still have another one for backup.  I'd just tape my spare one to the back of my LIME FUEL battery with some gorilla tape.

This is EXACTLY the same as the World Plug ADAPTER ABOVE BUT it does NOT have a fuse in it.  My friend that travels the world says that fuses are a CURSE.  He NEVER travels with ANYTHING with a fuse anymore.  As I always say, what do fuses do?  They blow.  When do they blow, right when you need them the most.  This adapter has NO fuses in it.  It has the same pins, prongs and 2 USB ports as the one above.  I'd suggest you get this one.  If you are a sacredly cat, get the one with the fuses.

**READ ME**  I like and use external USB batteries (like the Lime Fuel Battery Below) for charging my cell phone if I forget to charge it, or I am using a lot of power in the day, the reason I like these integrated cases is for traveling because they are wrapped around the phone and you can't loose it, you don't need a cable.  They are not much bigger than the phone. Samsung is unique in that the battery can be replaced just by removing the back cover.  So what you do is take out your normal size battery from your phone and you put in this much larger 5800maH battery and then they have a new back from the phone for you that takes the larger battery.  Plus the these batteries are a lot cheaper than the ones for the iphone's.  I am VERY hard on my phones (and watches) and I drop the phone all the time so I have a supreme protection Ballistic Brand case on it.  It protects everything.  However next time I go traveling I am going to add this battery to my phone so I have the extra power as I'm flying or in the airport.  I won't really be dropping the phone in those situation, plus this does have some drop protection on it.  This battery is 5800mah, if you want one that is 7800maH then get this one: http://amzn.to/19HGxgz
